Description
The Muncie CS8D-S6812-S1BX or CS8DS6812S1BX is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO from the CS8 Series, designed for compatibility with a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions including Allison 1000/2000 series applications. It offers three remote mount output shaft configurations in keyed and flange types for flexible pump drive setups. Direct mount pump flanges are rotatable to maximize installation clearance and are compatible with SAE “A”, “B”, and “BB” as well as DIN 5462 pump standards. Muncie’s patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is disengaged. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device monitoring of PTO shaft speed.
