Description
The Chelsea 897 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 897LBFJW-M5AZ or 897LBFJWM5AZ, is a constant-engagement PTO engineered for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. It mounts via a 10-bolt interface and positions the SAE C output flange to the rear of the transmission, improving pump clearance without requiring a separate extension. The one-piece main shaft eliminates input splines between the PTO body and the output, reducing potential leak and wear points. Wet Spline output technology extends service life on the PTO and pump shaft in high-demand applications. Continuous torque rating reaches 670 lb-ft (908 Nm); shaft power output at 1,000 RPM is 128 HP (95 kW). Suited for aerial, fire and rescue, refuse, and crane applications.
