Description
The Chelsea 880 Series Power Take-Off, part number 880XJAKP-M4XS or 880XJAKPM4XS, is a heavy-duty 8-bolt PTO designed for demanding applications including bulk haulers, fire trucks, oil field equipment, aerial units, and large recovery trucks. It uses a lever mechanical shift and delivers up to 500 lb-ft of intermittent torque (678 Nm). The output shaft is a 1-1/2″ 10-spline configuration with a 1410 companion flange. At 500 RPM the unit produces 48 HP (36 kW); at 1000 RPM it produces 95 HP (71 kW). The cast iron housing with removable shift cover allows straightforward backlash adjustment during installation.
