Description
The Chelsea 880XGDAP-A4XV or 880XGDAPA4XV is an 880 Series Power Take-Off assembly built for heavy-duty applications on manual transmissions with an 8-bolt aperture. It uses a lever mechanical shift and delivers output through a 1-1/2″-10T spline shaft with a 1410 series companion flange. Shaft power is rated at 48 HP at 500 RPM and 95 HP at 1000 RPM, with intermittent torque up to 500 lb-ft (678 Nm). The cast iron housing carries tapered cone bearings for load capacity, and a removable shift cover allows backlash adjustment without removing the unit from the transmission. Applications in the 880 Series family include fire trucks, bulk haulers, oil field equipment, winch installations, and large recovery trucks. Compatible transmission manufacturers include Volvo/Mack, Allison, Eaton/Fuller, and others. The dual-pump output design allows mounting a hydraulic pump on each end of the PTO.
