Description
The Muncie 82 Series Power Take-Off, part number 828B-U6815-S3EX or 828BU6815S3EX, is a heavy-duty PTO built for high-torque hydraulic and mechanical drive applications. It uses a double-acting air shift for positive engagement and disengagement, and rides in a cast iron housing. The series supports eight speed ratios and nine output shaft options, with two assembly arrangements. Peak intermittent capacity reaches 500 lb.ft. of torque and 95 HP at 1,000 RPM at the closest speed ratio, making it suited for high-volume hydraulic pumps and high-CFM blowers. Seven direct-mount pump flange options cover S.A.E. “B,” “BB,” “C,” and “D” patterns plus DIN 5462 mounts, and the direct-mount flanges are rotatable for clearance.
