Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489ZFITX-A5XK or 489ZFITXA5XK, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening without an adapter plate, removing a common leak path. The one-piece cast iron housing gives the same 250 lb-ft intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series. Shift is via wire/cable mechanical actuation. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft is compatible with key-drive configurations, and shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. Compatible transmissions include Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manual-transmission platforms with an 8-bolt PTO aperture.
