Description
The Chelsea 489ZFITX-A5XD or 489ZFITXA5XD is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings on Eaton Fuller, Mack, Volvo, and Tremec gearboxes. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission, no adapter plate needed, which trims installation time and eliminates a potential leak path. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft (with key) delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for improved load capacity. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series, and the kit-style design simplifies service.
