Description
The Chelsea 489ZCDAX-V5XD or 489ZCDAXV5XD is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly built for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening without an adapter plate, eliminating a potential leak path. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round shaft with keyway. The 489 Series carries the same 250 lb-ft intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series, and its tapered bearings provide greater load-bearing capability than needle bearing designs.
