Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XXAHX-W3XK or 489XXAHXW3XK, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on compatible manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and others. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a common leak path. Wire/cable mechanical shift actuates the unit, and the output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round with keyway. The 489 Series shares internal components with the Chelsea 442 Series and delivers an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), with shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
