Description
The Chelsea 489XXAHX-V3XD or 489XXAHXV3XD is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting opening, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, eliminating that extra potential leak path. This unit ships with a wire/cable mechanical shift and a 1-1/4″ round output shaft with key. The 489 Series carries the same 250 lb-ft intermittent torque rating as the 442 Series and uses tapered bearings for load handling. Shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
