Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XXAHX-A5XD or 489XXAHXA5XD, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built for 8-bolt transmission openings. The one-piece cast iron housing mounts directly to the 8-bolt aperture on compatible manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and removing a potential leak path. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm) and delivers up to 48 HP at 1,000 RPM through a 1-1/4″ round output shaft.
