Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XXAHX-A3XD or 489XXAHXA3XD, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening with a one-piece cast iron housing that eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths compared to multi-piece designs. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft (with key) delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range, with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Compatible transmissions in the 489 Series include Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec manual gearboxes with an 8-bolt aperture.
