Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XWITX-A3XK or 489XWITXA3XK, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft (with keyway) delivers up to 48 HP at 1,000 RPM and carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft for the series. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series. Call us to confirm proper fit for your transmission and application.
