Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XWDUX-W3XD or 489XWDUXW3XD, is an 8-bolt PTO designed to mount directly to manual transmissions from Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, Tremec, and others without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates a potential leak path while delivering the same 250 lb-ft intermittent torque capacity as the Chelsea 442 Series. Output is a 1-1/4″ round shaft with key, and shaft power ratings are 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The shift mechanism is wire/cable mechanical. Tapered output bearings replace needle bearings for improved load handling. Call us to confirm proper fit for your application.
