Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XWDUX-V3XD or 489XWDUXV3XD, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and others, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The one-piece cast iron housing delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range, matching the torque capacity of the 442 Series. Shaft power is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round with key. Wire/cable mechanical shift is standard on this unit. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity.
