Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XWAHX-A3XK or 489XWAHXA3XK, mounts directly to 8-bolt transmission openings on Eaton Fuller, Mack, Tremec, and compatible manual transmissions without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission, eliminating the adapter-plate leak path present on older designs. The series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft output of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1000 RPM, with a 1-1/4″ round output shaft. Wire/cable mechanical shift is standard on this configuration, and internal components are common with the Chelsea 442 Series. Kit-style construction simplifies field service.
