Description
The Chelsea 489XWAHX-A3GA or 489XWAHXA3GA is a 489 Series power take-off assembly built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings on Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, eliminating that potential leak path. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm) range, with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft accepts a keyed connection. Internal components share commonality with the Chelsea 442 Series, making parts sourcing straightforward.
