Description

The Chelsea 489XUAHX-A6XK or 489XUAHXA6XK is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly built for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible units. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. This unit uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. The wire/cable mechanical shift drives a 1-1/4″ round output shaft with key. Intermittent torque for the 489 Series is rated 201-300 lb-ft, with shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series, simplifying service. Call us to confirm proper fit for your application.
