The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XUAHX-A6XD or 489XUAHXA6XD, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on compatible manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec units. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths compared to bolt-on adapter configurations. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers up to 250 lb-ft intermittent torque, matching the torque capacity of the Chelsea 442 Series. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft with key accepts a wide range of output configurations. Internal parts are shared with the 442 Series, simplifying service.
