Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XSEVX-V5RB or 489XSEVXV5RB, is an 8-bolt PTO assembly designed for manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo, Mack, and others. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round with key. Intermittent torque rating for the 489 Series runs 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), with shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM.
