Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XSEVX-A5XD or 489XSEVXA5XD, fits manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO aperture, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round with key option. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. Intermittent torque rating for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm); check Chelsea application pages for the actual rating specific to your configuration. Shaft power output is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for improved load-bearing capability.
