Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XLAHX-A6XK or 489XLAHXA6XK, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built around an 8-bolt mounting configuration that bolts directly to the transmission opening without an adapter plate, eliminating a potential leak path. The one-piece cast iron housing delivers the same torque capacity as the 442 Series, rated at 250 lb-ft intermittent. Output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round with keyway. Compatible transmissions include Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO aperture. Shaft power output is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
