Description
The Chelsea 489XLAHX-A5SQ or 489XLAHXA5SQ is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly built on an integral one-piece cast iron housing that bolts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on compatible manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec. The wire/cable mechanical shift design delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1000 RPM. Output is via a 1-1/4″ round shaft with key option. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity, and internal parts are shared with the 442 Series.
