Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XHITX-A3XQ or 489XHITXA3XQ, is an 8-bolt PTO designed to mount directly to the transmission opening on manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path compared to multi-piece designs. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round type.
