Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XHAHX-V5SQ or 489XHAHXV5SQ, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening without an adapter plate, eliminating a potential leak path. The one-piece cast iron housing is rated for up to 250 lb-ft intermittent torque, matching the capacity of the Chelsea 442 Series. Output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round with key, and the shift is wire/cable mechanical. Shaft power runs 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. Compatible transmissions include Eaton Fuller, Volvo, Mack, and other manual units with an 8-bolt PTO aperture. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
