Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XHAHX-V5AF or 489XHAHXV5AF, mounts directly to the 8-bolt opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec units. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path compared to two-piece designs. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), matching the 442 Series rating. Shaft power output runs 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft is available with key. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
