Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly, part number 489XHAHX-V3XK or 489XHAHXV3XK, mounts via an integral 8-bolt housing that eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths on most manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller and Volvo/Mack applications. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical, with an electric-over-air option available. The output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round (with key option), rated for intermittent torque of 250 lb-ft (339 Nm). Shaft power output at 1,000 RPM is 48 HP (36 kW). Internal components are common to the Chelsea 442 Series, and the kit-style design simplifies field service.
