Description
The Chelsea 489XHAHX-P3GK or 489XHAHXP3GK is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off assembly from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to bolt directly to manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO opening, including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec units. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, cutting down mounting time and reducing potential leak paths. Shift actuation is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft supports pressure lubrication (P designation in the part number). Intermittent torque rating for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), with shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
