Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XHAHX-H3XK or 489XHAHXH3XK, is an 8-bolt PTO assembly designed for manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo, Mack, and others. The one-piece cast iron housing mounts directly to the transmission’s 8-bolt opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round with keyway. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm). Shaft power output is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
