The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XHAHX-A5XK or 489XHAHXA5XK, mounts via an integral 8-bolt housing that eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical, with output rated at 46-55 HP (31-40 kW) and intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft (with keyway option) delivers 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Compatible with most manual transmissions carrying an 8-bolt PTO aperture, including Eaton/Fuller, Mack, and Volvo/Mack units.
