Description
The Chelsea 489XHAHX-A3XR or 489XHAHXA3XR is a Series 489 power take-off assembly designed for Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and select other transmissions. It mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and uses a wire/cable mechanical shift mechanism. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft (keyway available) delivers up to 48 HP at 1,000 RPM, with intermittent torque rated at 250 lb-ft (339 Nm). This unit carries the “X” lubricant designation, meaning no pressure lube is required. Internal components are common to the Chelsea 442 Series, simplifying parts sourcing.
