Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XFITX-V5XK or 489XFITXV5XK, mounts directly to 8-bolt manual transmission openings on Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible transmissions without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM, scaling to 48 HP at 1000 RPM. Output is through a 1-1/4″ round shaft with key. The wire/cable mechanical shift mechanism and kit-style construction share internal components with the Chelsea 442 Series, simplifying service and parts sourcing.
