Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XFITX-P3XK or 489XFITXP3XK, mounts directly to 8-bolt manual transmission openings on Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, Tremec, and other compatible transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate found on older designs, removing a common leak path. Shift is wire/cable mechanical, with an electric-over-air shift option available. Output is a 1-1/4″ round shaft with key, rated for intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range. Shaft power reaches 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
