Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XFEVX-A5XD or 489XFEVXA5XD, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to Eaton Fuller, Mack, Tremec, and compatible transmissions without an adapter plate, which removes a potential leak path and cuts installation time. Output is rated at 46-55 HP (24 HP at 500 RPM, 48 HP at 1,000 RPM), with an intermittent torque rating in the 201-300 lb-ft range – check the Chelsea 489 Series application pages for the torque value specific to this configuration.
