Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XFAHX-W3RB or 489XFAHXW3RB, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec units. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate found on many installations, removing a potential leak path and simplifying mounting. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), with output power of 46-55 HP (31-40 kW). Shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft with key accommodates a wide range of driven accessories. Internal parts share commonality with the Chelsea 442 Series. Also cross-referenced as 1450-489XFAHXW3RB.
