Description

The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XFAHX-V3GA or 489XFAHXV3GA, mounts directly to 8-bolt manual transmission openings on Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible transmissions, no adapter plate required. The one-piece cast iron housing delivers the same 250 lb-ft intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series while eliminating a potential leak path. Output is a 1-1/4″ round shaft (with key option), and the shift type is wire/cable mechanical. Shaft power rates at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Typical applications include utility trucks, dump trucks, snow and ice removal equipment, and fire and rescue vehicles. Call us to confirm proper fit for your specific transmission.
