Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XFAHX-S5XK or 489XFAHXS5XK, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec models. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path. This unit delivers the same 250 lb-ft intermittent torque capacity as the Chelsea 442 Series, with tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for greater load capacity. Output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round shaft with key. Shift is accomplished via wire/cable mechanical operation. At 1,000 RPM the shaft delivers 48 HP. Call us to confirm proper fit for your application.
