Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XFAHX-S3RB or 489XFAHXS3RB, mounts directly to 8-bolt transmission openings on most manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates a potential leak path that adapter-plate designs introduce. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers up to 250 lb-ft (339 Nm) intermittent torque, consistent with the 442 Series rating. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft with key accepts a wide range of pump drives. Shaft power output is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
