Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XFAHX-P3GK or 489XFAHXP3GK, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening with a one-piece cast-iron housing that eliminates the need for an adapter plate and reduces potential leak paths. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers up to 48 HP at 1,000 RPM via a 1-1/4″ round output shaft. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm); check application pages for the actual torque rating for your specific installation. Compatible transmissions include Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO aperture.
