Description
The Chelsea 489XFAHX-C5RB or 489XFAHXC5RB is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly built for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO opening, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec units. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, cutting installation time and eliminating an extra leak path. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers an intermittent torque rating in the 201-300 lb-ft range, matching the torque capacity of the 442 Series. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft supports shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
