Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XFAHX-C3RB or 489XFAHXC3RB, mounts directly to 8-bolt manual transmission openings from Eaton Fuller, Mack, Tremec, and Volvo among others. Its one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate found on many installations, cutting both mounting time and potential leak paths. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft (with key) delivers up to 48 HP at 1,000 RPM and carries an intermittent torque rating of 250 lb-ft, matching the torque capacity of the Chelsea 442 Series. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Internal parts are common to the 442 Series, keeping your service inventory simple.
