Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XFAHX-A6GK or 489XFAHXA6GK, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing both installation time and potential leak paths. This unit delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round with key. Internal components are common to the Chelsea 442 Series, and the kit-style design simplifies field service.
