Description
The Chelsea 489XCITX-A5RB or 489XCITXA5RB is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings on Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible transmissions. Its one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), with an actual intermittent value up to 250 lb-ft (339 Nm) depending on application. Output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round with keyway. Shaft power is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. This unit uses wire/cable mechanical shift. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
