Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XCAHX-W5XD or 489XCAHXW5XD, mounts directly to 8-bolt transmission openings on Eaton Fuller, Mack, Tremec, and other compatible manual transmissions using a one-piece cast iron housing that eliminates the need for an adapter plate. The wire/cable mechanical shift mechanism delivers intermittent torque in the 250 lb-ft range, with output power of 46-55 HP. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft with key accepts a wide range of driven equipment. Internal components are shared with the Chelsea 442 Series, and the tapered bearing design provides greater load capacity than needle bearing alternatives.
