Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XCAHX-V3GF or 489XCAHXV3GF, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening using a one-piece cast iron housing that eliminates the adapter plate and reduces potential leak paths. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and accepts a 1-1/4″ round output shaft with key. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-handling capability. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series, and the kit-style design simplifies service.
