Description
The Chelsea 489XCAHX-A3RB or 489XCAHXA3RB is an 8-bolt mechanical shift power take-off from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to bolt directly to manual transmissions with an 8-bolt aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Volvo, Mack, and other compatible units. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a common leak path. This unit delivers up to 250 lb-ft intermittent torque and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM, scaling to 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round with key, and shift is wire/cable mechanical. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series, making service straightforward.
