Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XAITX-H3XD or 489XAITXH3XD, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on compatible Eaton Fuller, Mack, Volvo, and other manual transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate found on many competing designs, reducing potential leak paths and installation time. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft (with key) delivers up to 48 HP at 1,000 RPM and carries an intermittent torque rating of 250 lb-ft for the series. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Internal parts share commonality with the 442 Series.
