The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XAITX-A5XD or 489XAITXA5XD, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on compatible Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manual transmissions – no adapter plate required. The one-piece cast iron housing delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series (250 lb-ft / 339 Nm per application data; verify your exact application) using tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Shaft power output reaches 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft with key accepts a wide range of pump configurations.
