Description
The Chelsea 489XAITX-A3XQ or 489XAITXA3XQ is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly built around a one-piece cast iron housing that bolts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on compatible manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and others. The series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm) range and output power of 46-55 HP (31-40 kW), with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round with key. The integrated housing design eliminates the adapter plate found on earlier configurations, reducing potential leak paths at the mounting face.
