Description
The Chelsea 489XAITX-A3XD or 489XAITXA3XD is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly with wire/cable mechanical shift, designed for Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO opening. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission face, eliminating the adapter plate and its associated leak path. Intermittent torque rating for the 489 Series is 250 lb-ft (339 Nm); shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round with key.
